Crystal Wand Material Gathering.

Sunrise looking towards Double Island.

The Incoming Morning.

For those who have read the last couple of posts will know about 20 of us are getting together tomorrow and creating our own beautiful personal Crystal Wands. We have been getting most of the individual parts all this week. Well the thing was, we didn’t have any main body or sticks to hold everything together. So early the other morning before sunrise, Deb and myself and our 3 keen sniffer dogs, decided that Buchan’s Point beach was a good place to look. So tramping along the beautiful beach with a gentle breeze blowing in our face we collected lovely driftwood sticks from the incoming tide. These freaks of nature came in all shapes and forms and most have been floating on the high seas for a while gathering all the energy from the ocean.

Virgin Beach- well almost.

Strolling along looking for Driftwood.

The keen sniffer dogs seemed more intent on playing with each other and running into the waves than gathering sticks for our project. In all our haste to get to the beach early morning we forgot to bring a backpack to carry our treasures. So after 20 minutes with the sun starting to rise over double Island, we came back arms full of wand ingredients. It amazing just a short walk in all that beauty and you realise how lucky we are to be in North Queensland.
